Moe, the Boston Terrier canine consultant for M&J Dog Essentials, was a stink roller from the time when he was a puppy. Even while waiting to cross the busy city streets in Chicago, we would look down in horror to find Moe delighting himself by rolling in some slimy worms washed up from the previous nights rain. His beautiful white collar was soon soiled with well-blended mixture of street grime and the stink of dead worms. Needless to say, a lot of Moe’s walks ended with a bath! We knew he came to us for a reason!

After moving the M&J Dog Essentials headquarters from Chicago, Illinois to Asheville, North Carolina, we were expecting Moe to be a little reticent about exploring his new (fenced in) wooded surroundings. Having spent the first three years of his life on a leash and living in an apartment

in the city we did not expect him to venture more than 5 feet from the door. Not only did he surprise us with his newfound boldness in exploring, but also with how quickly he became comfortable checking out the sites and sounds of the woods. We can’t say anyone was surprised with what he found.
We can easily keep an eye on Moe’s bright white collar as he confidently trots through the paths that he has forged in the woods. One day, it seemed like his expedition was longer than usual. We kept calling and looking for him, wondering where he could be? We couldn’t even spot his telltale white collar anywhere in the woods. Soon we heard a rustling in the leaves and out came Moe, proudly running back to us while confidently showing off his newly brown-stained, smelly self like a badge of honor. Some things never change…dog bath time!
Now that Moe has found his special stinky rolling spot (which we cannot seem to find), we give this little stinker a lot of baths!
